Cottonhill Cemetery is getting a face lift thanks to the efforts of J.r. Forsyth who is working steadily with his team of volunteers to clear the years of growth that have taken over this old and abandoned cemetery. Through his hard work he and his crew have uncovered burial markers that have been covered with vines and dirt but are in remarkably good shape. His plan is to have the cemetery cleared by Fall. PCCPC applauds his efforts as do the members of Shady Grove UMC which was built to replace the old church. Remnants of the old church can be found in the cemetery area.
