Asa Crabb
Asa Crabb was born in Halifax County, NC on March 25, 1760. He married Jerusha Barnes and they had at least two children. Enoch Crabb was born about 1778 and James Burton Crabb about 1793.
After the death of his first wife, he married Ferby Foler in Putnam County, GA on May 24, 1822.
Asa Crabb died on January 03, 1846 in Paulding County, GA. The part that later became Polk County, GA. Some family researchers believe that he is buried at Van Wert Cemetery, while others believe he was buried at the Barber Family Cemetery. There is also a Crabb Family Cemetery. All three cemeteries are within a few miles or each other and located in or near the historic Van Wert community. Hopefully, with further research, the burial location can be found of this Revolutionary Soldier.
